Description
Designed to fit low in the block for racing applications with sheet metal intake manifold combinations
CNC machined billet aluminium housing and Dupont Rynite base
Polished steel shaft with a QPQ coating for friction reduction
Shaft is guided by a sealed ball bearing
Must be used with an MSD Crank Trigger and MSD Ignition Control
Supplied with large diameter HEI style distributor cap and rotor
Supplied with bronze gear
Will NOT fit 302-351 Cleveland XD Falcon – Onwards with 12.5mm shaft diameter
The MSD Low Profile Ford Crank Trigger Distributor is designed specifically for dual carb sheet metal intakes and must be used with an MSD Flying Magnet Crank Trigger system. The Low Profile distributor uses a large diameter distributor cap which allows it to carry the high voltage outputs of an MSD race ignition. For high Profile Distributor housing is CNC machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminium Inside this precision housing, a heat-treated 9/16″ diameter distributor shaft is guided by an upper sealed ball bearing for high rpm endurance and stability.
