The Starter Heat Shield
was developed to eliminate
starter problems caused by
close proximity of the
exhaust to the starter. The
universal kit enables the
user to insulate the starter
and solenoid. The unique
construction of the
aluminized material provides
protection by reflecting 90%
of radiant heat, up to
2000°F (1095°C).
