Description
The GM LS billet bypass plate or oil port adapter is aconvenient way to add a 1/8″ NPT port for auxiliary purposes on your GM LS engine. This plate is used to seal off the pressurized oil port in your oil pan abovethe oil filter, commonly used for oil cooler plumbing in factory applications. It replaces it with two 2 x 1/8″ NPT ports both horizontally or vertically. These are great for oil pressure gauges/sensors or oilpressure feed line for supply to your turbocharger. This plate is compatible with all LS oil pans, except LS1 front-sump oil pans due to thearchitecture of the internal oil routing in the pan, and dry-sump oil pans (LS7, LS9).
The main body is made from billet 6061 aluminium, then anodised blackfor great looks and corrosion resistance. Included with thisare two 1/8″ NPT steel plugs and AF59-2189 metal gasket to suit.
