RACING FRONT PUMP SUIT POWERGLIDE

Description

Reid Racing’s replacement Powerglide front pump is a 100% brand new pump designed from scratch to strengthen and update the original Powerglide pump for racing applications. This is not a duplicate of the original GM part. It’s a completely engineered and redesigned iron pump for high performance racing applications: high strength cast iron for maximum rigidity and minimum distortion at high temperature; high clutch drum bushing pressure; factory machined for roller thrust bearing.

Custom, high strength stator support shaft to handle high horsepower

Extra volume to prevent rocking or backing up when transbrake is applied
Redesigned oil pathways to increase flow to converter and cooler
Larger pump gears for more low rpm volume and pressure
Stiffer castings with ribs to prevent flexing and pressure loss at high line pressure
Stator support shaft machined for input shaft bushing (if used)
Preinstalled cooler pressure regulator valve comes standard
Extra clamping bolts (7 total) to hold pump halves together at high pressure
