Description
Strange Forged Aluminium Struts
Strange Forged Aluminium Strut Packages provide the basis for a lightweight front suspension. Frame construction is much simpler, suspension geometry is more easily established, and header clearance is improved over conventional A-frame suspension.
Strange forged aluminium struts utilise re-valvable Strange cartridges. Every Strange strut is rebound (extension) adjustable and all stud mount Strange Struts are externally adjustable for more convenient extension tuning. Strange aluminium struts are also available with an optional external compression adjustment- allowing for two (double) independent adjustments.
Strange aluminium strut bodies are forged from 2000 series aluminium alloy to provide high strength at a minimal weight. Heat treated, Camaro size, 17-4 stainless steel spindles provide an exceptionally strong wheel mounting surface. Fatigue resistant steel steering arms can be formed easily to obtain proper steering geometry. Brake mounting bosses are an integral part of the forged housing, providing simplicity for brake kit mounting on either side of the strut.
Every Strange strut package features integral designed components ensuring proper fit, ease of assembly, maximum performance and an unsurpassed regard for safety.
Strange offers eye mount and externally adjustable stud mount struts with the following brake kit options: lightweight (single piston calipers), medium duty (2-piston calipers), and heavy duty (4-piston calipers).
